Received 7 Likes on 3 Posts. Audi A7 MMI Screen is blank. Hello all, it has been a while. I have been having a blast with this car with no issues until now. While driving today, I made a 30 minute stop and when I got to my car I noticed that the MM! screen was blank. No data displayed just a black screen. I have tried resetting the MMI to no avail.

Usually when we hear these stories, the MMI controller unit is fried. $500 self install, or $1000 at the dealer. Received 89 Likes on 43 Posts. A8s had a significant issue with a gear that raises and lowers the screen wearing out in the internal mechanism. Supposedly Audi has improved the design with a stronger material for the C7, nevertheless, may be your issue. Awhile back one of our members was offering a DIY replacement gears to repair the assembly

Even though I wasn't logged in to Audi Connect at that point, it immediately gave me the Online traffic data. It's as if the MMI is not properly making the connection to the traffic servers and then the process of trying to log in/out of Audi Connect re-establishes the connection. I've never experienced this in my ownership of the car (from new).
I recetly bought an Audi A6 C7 2.0TFSI. I've been looking around in the MMI Media settings and found that Highs and Lows/bass volume work just fine, but when i try to set a different level for the Subwoofer option it does nothing, no change if i turn it all the way up or down. All my audio comes from my cellphone (S10+) through Bluetooth.
Yes, I figured it out, you need a language cd to load the speech to mmi. If you don’t want to spend money on it just search online for your mmi language cd file and burn it to a disc.
